First off, I'd like to say hello and welcome to all of my new followers! WOWZA! I didn't come on over the weekend and I suddenly have about 30 new followers. I hope you enjoy my blog even if you signed up for just a giveaway.
On to another day of my 30 things list. Here is #18....
18. What has been the most difficult thing you have had to forgive?
I really haven't been given the opportunity to forgive many people in my life. So I guess I would have to go with: Aaron for how he treated me in HS.
Yes, that would be my husband. We dated in high school, until one day he came by my house telling me we "had to talk" and proceeded to break up with me right there on my front step. He told me he was "playing" me. I was crushed. I was after all 15 years old and he was my first real boyfriend. Plus he had given me a ring saying I love you on it at one point.
16 years later, via Facebook, I receive a message from him apologizing for how he treated me. I told him, "eh it's no big deal, we were teenagers". Little did I realize we would end up back together and me forgiving him would have been harder to do, since it's hard not to think someone is going to do the same thing to you.
Needless to say, I forgave him and I am happy I did. I wouldn't be married to such a loving man and wouldn't have the amazing daughter I have.

I think it can be difficult to forgive someone after they've hurt you emotionally but that is so awesome that you did and you wound up married!
