My favorite baby items ... thus far

I figured that since Emma is about to be 11 months old, I would give you all a glimpse at some of my favorite and most used baby products.

Boppy® Pillow with Reversible Butterfly Collection Slipcover

This should be on everyone's must buy list. I have been using this since she was born and we both love it. I still nurse her on it, so that is why I still use it. It was great for when she would fall asleep and nap for a bit when she was a newborn too (as long as you are sitting right there). She loves to play with the butterfly part now.

We have recently bought this. Emma started to hate the bottle at about 4 months. She just wouldn't take it anymore since we had started to feed her real food. We had to transition to a sippy cup and just remove the plunger to help us get some liquid in her if I am not home to nurse. I saw this at Stop and Shop and picked it up. She seems to do pretty well with it. She likes the idea of drinking out of things like mommy and daddy do. Sure, there is a way that the liquid could get everywhere, but what cup wouldn't that happen with? At least with this one, it's easier to stop it from happening so much.

Baby Einstein Musical Motion Activity Jumper

We got this when Emma turned 4 months, which is the recommended age for babies to use this. She loves it. Whether she is in it or out of it, she finds a way to play with the things hanging from it or uses it to help stand herself up. She loves the music on it too. It's too cute to see her jumping around in there to the classical music. There are extra taggies that you can hang other things besides what comes in the package. I like that since I hung some of her favorites on there and she simply adores it. It's sad that pretty soon, she won't be able to use it anymore due to her height.

Fisher-Price® Space Saver High Chair - Mocha Butterfly

This has been great! We live in an apartment, so there isn't a ton of room in the kitchen for an extra highchair. We bought this and attached it to one of our regular dining chairs and it works great! She loves sitting in it (as long as she is eating, lol) I love the slipcover, it can be removed and washed easily in the washing machine.

Sophie Giraffe Teether

Oh, Sophie. I love you so much. We have both this one and the traditional bigger Sophie. We had this one first though and it has been great. Emma loves to be able to rub the rubber on her gums when she is teething. The bigger Sophie is good for now too since it is softer and she can get it in the back of her mouth. You should definitely get this as a teether for your baby. It will be their favorite!

Summer Infant Newborn to Toddler Bath Tub Gift Set

We have used this pretty much since we started bathing her. It has been great! She loves it still. The only thing we don't use is the little shower part. It's not so easy to get the water out of it, but the tub and infant seat work very well.

I hope I have helped anyone who is wondering what types of products to register for or purchase for their newborn. If you have any other questions about products I may have used, feel free to ask me!

Oooh...that little high chair is cute! I've been looking for a smaller one and one that we can travel with. Might have to look into that one!
